We met while attending the Boston Conservatory in 2012. We first encountered each other at a screening of the horror film Sinister in 2012, when Jordyn was an undergraduate and Thomas was a graduate student. It was a few months before we would speak again at cast party for the Conservatory's 2013 production of La Boheme. That night we spoke for a while and hit it off!

We went on our first date on May 1, 2013, and after a visit to Louisiana that June, we officially began dating.

Upon graduating from the Conservatory in 2014, we moved to Louisiana. Jordyn prepared for and applied to graduate schools in musicology and Thomas worked and sang in New Orleans. After receiving many offers of acceptance, Jordyn decided to attend the University of Texas at Austin, starting in the fall semester of 2015.

We have now been in Austin for almost two years. Thomas is a music instructor and performer and Jordyn is a teaching assistant at UT and private music instructor. In the fall of 2017 we will both be attending UT; Jordyn will continue her studies at UT as a Ph.D. student in Musicology and Thomas will start the SLP leveling program.
