Our first date: Homecoming 2014!

Friday night lights at Lu High! Jeff finally asked me to be his girlfriend on October 24, 2014 (if you ask Jeff it was Saturday, October 25th but I'm always right so we are sticking with Friday, October 24th)

Prom pole pic! At our first homecoming, our parents made us stand by a pole for a photo. It quickly became a joke amongst our friends and we continued the tradition at every school dance!

Our first anniversary! Jeff took me to The Cheesecake Factory and forgot his wallet so I paid, HA! I guess we are finally even after this ring he bought me...

Jeff graduated from Lutheran High! As I continued with my senior year, Jeff went on to Truman State University. Let the long distance begin...

NYE 2016-17! This year, we will have our 9th New Years' kiss!

I FINALLY graduated high school and went to college. Now it was Jeff's turn to visit me! He loved hanging out with all my girlfriends ;)

Easter weekend! Thank goodness for long weekends at home together

Thanksgiving 2018: Long distance was HARD. Since we both played fall sports, we couldn't travel on the weekends to see each other. Those four months spent apart were TOUGH, but we both looked forward to reuniting on Thanksgiving break!

Spring semester was here!! I made the four hour drive to Kirksville for the weekend. I got stuck in a snow storm on my way out, but it was worth every second to see this guy!

GLORIA! GLORIA! The blues won the Stanley Cup! Jeff had a little too much fun this day...his phone died so I wrote my phone number on his arm incase he got lost in the downtown crowd. Someone caught us in the moment and asked to come to the wedding, not knowing that we had been together for four years. Think we could track her down and send her an invite?

Back to school and back to competing! Sundays were my only off days from volleyball, but Jeff was on the road nearby. I drove a short ways to Maryville and got to watch him play! Jeff got a yellow card this game...but thankfully I still got to talk to him for almost an hour after the game! That time was exactly what we needed to push through those last few weeks until Thanksgiving break!

We spent all the holidays together but I just couldn't stay away! I made another visit to Truman which would, unknowingly, be one of my last. The pandemic started just a few months later, and then Jeff graduated his undergrad!

Another summer came and went, and it was back to school again! I started my senior year of nursing school as Jeff pursued his masters in accounting. Last year of long distance, WOOHOO!!

We celebrated Jeff's birthday a few days early in Edwardsville! Between my senior clinicals and Jeff's masters program, it was getting even harder to make time to see each other. But we made it work! We knew it was going to be worth it in the long run...

Christmas Card 2020! We both came down with COVID after that weekend...

Jeff's first SIUE Volleyball game and my senior day! It was so special to see him in the stands with my family on my home court. This was our last "see ya later” of long distance...HALLELUJAH!

I graduated from SIUE with my nursing degree and Jeff graduated with his masters in accounting at Truman! We both spent that summer studying. I took my boards and became an RN while Jeff got his CPA! Let adulting begin!

We started our “big boy” jobs! After a year of living with our parents, we saved up enough money and made the decision to move in together!

New Years Day Chiefs game!! Little did I know, this would be the year we would get engaged!

The last wedding we went to as just boyfriend and girlfriend :)

The moment you’ve all been waiting for…

WE’RE ENGAGED! Jeff (finally) popped the question in front of the Montana mountains. It was the most beautiful, perfect day!

And here we are, planning a wedding! We are so blessed and can’t wait to spend our special day with all of you!
