Jordyn & Sam met at a Camp Okoboji clean up weekend when they were 14 and 15 years old!

Jordyn made the first move (i.e. sent the first text message) just because she knew Sam was a catch!

They dated for a solid month in 2015, but Jordyn realized that boys were icky and liked being a free woman

It didn't take long for the two of them to realize that they DID really like each other...like, really really like each other. Jordyn also became bored of being a free woman, so she asked Sam to be her prom date!

Sam finally asked Jordyn to be his girlfriend and sealed the deal by telling her the "White Horse, Black Horse" story... if you have a good 30 minutes of spare time, you can ask Sam if he'll share it with you
...and they dated for many, many, many years. Even made it through all the good and bad haircuts AND still found love in each other.
They also got a dog that hates people, so you will likely never get to meet him. Which they are so sad about because he really is the most perfect dog outside of hating people. Yay Zeus!

Sam made the ultimate move to get down on one knee and propose to Jordyn! Sam chose to use the stone from Jordyn's mom's wedding ring, making the moment even more special.
Sam proposed to her by capping the evening off with the famous "White Horse, Black Horse" story, just like their first date.
