Should I rent a car?
Totally up to you! Parking at the venue is limited to street parking, so if you don't plan on using a car much it may be in your best interest to rideshare instead. If you are coming with children, you may want to rent a car. If you are taking a rideshare from the airport (Lyft, Uber, taxis) follow the signs from arrivals to the pickup area, it's about a 5m walk from baggage claim to the pickup area).
Where should I stay?
Due to the small size of our wedding we chose to not book hotel blocks; we'd suggest staying anywhere within your budget in the Austin area. There are many hotels, guesthouses, and Airbnbs nearby the venue: 1006 S 8th Street, Austin, TX 78704 below are just a few nearby...

Queer and trans guests: will I be safe traveling to and from ATX?
Your safety and care is extremely important to us. Austin is a very queer-friendly city and there are many places where you can show up as your absolute fullest self. Many places have gender neutral bathrooms and we're happy to reach out for accommodation / restaurant / things to do suggestions from fellow queer and trans friends in Austin. That said, we live in a state that continues to pass policies that are queer and transphobic and we understand if you choose not to attend for that reason. Do what you need to do to feel safe. We won't love you any less.
