We are a modern day/dating app success story (thanks Hinge). Although it took me two tries to finally get the date that changed our lives... it was well worth the wait. We had "matched" on the dating app "Hinge" not once, but twice. On the first match, Jordyn had broken the news she had started teaching in Reading School District and was planning to move to the Ephrata area... then came radio silence.

Fortunately, Jordyn and I matched on Hinge again and after Jordyn got home from visiting her best friend, now Maid of Honor, Sharri in Austin, TX... we had our first date. We knew after finishing our meals and several beers at Rubber Soul Brewing Co. in Hummelstown, PA and continued to talk and laugh for over three hours... that there was a special connection.

Jordyn's smile and sense of humor had me hooked from the beginning but it was not until talking and getting to know her better, I truly knew this girl was special. Her empathy, humor, passion for teaching, support for my hobbies such as coaching, and her love for cooking make her not only a beautiful and loving partner but a best friend.

Then... I met her family and it all made sense. Her family immediately accepted me and made me feel at home. I love spending time with them and especially love tagging along on their annual trip to Duck, NC. I know that my family also absolutely adores Jordyn and are so happy that I found the one.
