Jorge and Rita first crossed paths preseason of freshman year at Valparaiso University. Both were on the men and women’s soccer teams and their seasons required them to get to campus a few weeks prior to the other students. The majority of freshman year was spent with random encounters and brief conversations until the infamous soccer formal where Jorge asked Rita to be his date. Since that night over 8 years ago, their lives have changed quite a bit…from living states apart to living in Chicago and all the changes in between, one of the few things that has remained constant is their relationship and commitment to each other. This past December, Jorge asked Rita to marry him at Lincoln Park Zoo and they could not be more excited to celebrate with you this upcoming December!
