Q + A

What is the dress code?

Dress code is Cowboy Black-Tie/Formal Black-Tie. Elegant but relaxed. Wear what you're comfortable in and dress to impress. If you have any questions regarding the dress code, please feel free to reach out to either of us.

How did you two meet?

Jorge: Faith approached a couple times, during my time as a bouncer at a country bar. Faith: I just happened to notice him walk by and I knew I had to meet him. So, I gathered the courage to ask him to dance and it took me a couple weeks after that to ask him for his number...and now we are getting married.

What was your first impression of each other?

Jorge: My first impression of Faith was very caring and nurturing, as she was very devoted to her faith. She always looked out for others too, even when she didn't have the time to. Faith: I loved how devoted he was to bettering himself. He is constantly looking for ways to improve. He also looks out for others. He has so much love and passion for life it's inspiring. From day one he made me want to be a better person.

When did you know you wanted to marry each other?

Jorge: I knew instantly. Just the conversations we would have about our future and our aspirations. I knew I found a Godly woman. Faith: It took me a little longer I think. I wanted to see what he was all about and to make sure he meant what he said. The way we are able to talk about our faith within those first couple months was a big eye opener about the type of man Jorge is. After that I knew this was who I wanted to build a life with.

What are some of your favorite memories together?

Jorge: There is a lot of great moments, but my favorite would probably have to be our first drive down to Flagstaff, AZ. It was just nice to finally have someone who wanted more from life. Faith: Probably when we gathered cattle for the first time together. It was the real first look into what my side of life looked like. We had so much fun together and it was then that Jorge brought up that we should move the wedding to Colorado. It was fun to share a big part of my life with my most important person.

How did you propose?

It was stressful, but I had planned it during our family trip to Hawaii/South Korea. I waited for the right moment at the beach during our family photos. We convinced her to turn around, then while she was facing the ocean, I took a knee.

What’s your favorite date night activity?

We have this thing where we binge watch movies, currently we are watching the Marvel Universe Timeline. Next is Harry Potter. We are both so busy, so our date nights look more relaxed with focus on quality time.

How do you support each other in your goals?

Jorge: I just give her the support, constructive criticism and just give her the reassurement she needs to go do or try things she has never done before. Faith: I remind him that I am here as his support and that I believe in him. I am always so proud of him, and I try my best to tell him. I also like to ask him what he needs from me directly to help with his goals.

What was the most challenging part of planning the wedding?

I think I can speak for the both of us when I say, Finding the time together to get things done or figured out.

What are your plans for the future?

Jorge: For the most part, we want to build our forever home somewhere in rodeo country, however, keep it close to family. Career wise, I want to finish my time in the military as an officer, get my master's or a second bachelor's and just build generational wealth for the future. Faith: I agree with what Jorge said for our forever home plans. For myself I want to finish my master's and help build on that generational wealth we have talked so much about. I would love to continue to rodeo and one day bring our little ones into that life as well. At the end of the day though, it will be God's plan, and we can just pray we are following through on it.
