About Us

The story of Devin and Jorge, starts a time before there was a “Devin and Jorge”. Living their normal 20-something and 30-something year old lives, they both kept up with fitness routines at New York Sports Clubs in Clifton, NJ. They both noticed each other. They both seemingly fancied each other. Despite this affinity, both too shy to make a move, they went on with their lives.

Quite a bit later, in the new age of technology, Jorge saw Devin on a dating app and decided to send a “Sup?”. Short convo to follow, decided to meet at a casual bar in Jersey City. A number of options were discussed, eventually drilling it down to two (2). In true Devin fashion, he showed up to the bar they decided against, and had Jorge waiting, questioning the meet at the actual bar for about fifteen (15) minutes.

After a couple of drinks to shake the nerves, both started to settle into themselves, which led to continuing the date to a few more bars. Chatting about family / friends and the typical first date ‘would you rathers’, they each grew more and more into the night. Yes, the gym detail was discussed, and both embarrassingly admitted, one should have at least offered to spot the other!

Spending the next several days together, with movies, meals and concerts (Danity Kane), it became apparent that the spark was ignited and soon burning blue.

There’ve been many memorable moments in their relationship. Like the one time where there was a pandemic and they survived newly living together. The time they travelled 4+ hours to adopt a pup. The time Jorge thought all they were getting was new house key rings, but Devin had other plans and decided a ring on the finger was due.

Planning the big day has been pretty stress free. Given the almost 2-year coordination and the fact that their styles are very much synced up. Devin and Jorge can’t wait for you to enjoy the weekend’s events and what upstate NY has to offer in the Autumn.

And Just Like That, about six (6) years later, as We get ready to take that stroll down the aisle, we are excited to stand in front of all of you, as we express our love and dedication to each other. Many of you may not know this but, you have shaped how we’ve evolved as a couple. There’re little bits in pieces of you all in our communication, compromise, home and heart. As we dance the night away into the next chapter, we couldn’t think of better people to spend the weekend with and create more memories while having all the fun!
