An impossible love story that began with a socially-distanced picnic at the onset of a global pandemic. James and Jory were compelled to meet after matching on a dating app. But this was no ordinary match. This was James being interviewed by a woman with top-notch journalistic skills, who dispensed with the pleasantries and went right to the heart of it with the first question - “Nice to match with you James, so what do you typically do to stay in shape?” Thankfully, James had a very long and detailed response to that question! Mutual passions for cycling, running, weightlifting & all things fitness, combined with equal passions for food, wine and travel made us perfect for creating memorable life experiences together.

And memories we have made! Such as cycling the West Maui Loop, Jory teaching James how to golf (poorly), escaping Murder Hornets in Yosemite, snowshoeing through Tahoe, running a 16-mile and 3400' elevation foot race together, spending Christmas in New York, enjoying beautiful sunsets in Sedona one day and then being pelted with hail while cycling the next, touring the wineries of Sonoma & Napa and expanding our love for wine and food — always on the lookout for the perfect taco (hint - they are in Healdsburg). James always supporting Jory’s many triathlons and the training that goes into them, they have discovered a mutual affinity for caviar, neighborhood wine-tasting parties, and rainy day hot tubs; all while snort laughing at hilariously punny jokes (to us, anyway - just ask about bananas).

The J2 squad is all about life experiences…and we are just getting started. Our love for one another, to be shared on our special day - is made even more special by creating memories with all of you who could join us. Thank you for celebrating together with us!
