Wesley and I met at a young age we both remember being around each other throughout our young lives but never really friends until our sophomore and junior year in High school. After we became friends it seemed like fate at least for me. Of course just like normal Wesley and Josalyn style I made the first move and asked Wesley to go to the gym with me. The two hours we spent at the gym were great even the car ride back home was fine no weird silence or anything but then Wesley never texted me... Thats where I thought it ended until about 2 months later we both were at a mutual friends family dinner who is actually one of my bridesmaids (Lizzy). Our tables got split up so I ended up sitting with all the guys since the only girls in the friend group were Lizzy and I. After that dinner wesley and I talked every day and became really close. Shortly after Wesley asked if he could go to the gym with me again. We worked out together and right after of course when I was nasty and smelt like gym he thought that was the perfect time to ask me out. That was March, 4th, 2023. We got along pretty great than big changes started to happen. Wesley came to me and said he was joining the navy. As proud of him as I am now I was heart broken then. It took me a few months to really come to terms with but I did and grew to embrace it. Wesley shipped off to bootcamp and before I knew it he had made it through and proposed to me in a Chicago hotel.
