I met Octavio on Facebook Dates, in April of 2024. I thought he was in Wilmington, Delaware, but he just got done visiting his sister who lives there. When he told me that he lives in Juarez, Mexico, my reaction was "Hell No!" It was my Brother Friend Marco who told me to talk to him and see where it could go. I took the advice and started to have daily communication with Octavio. During one of our conversations he informed me that he was coming back to visit his sister and wanted to meet in person. In late June he returned to see his sister and we met. It was love at first sight. We took trips to the Salsa Festival in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, river tubing in Rock Park, Maryland, New York City for the 4th of July, Hershey Chocolate World in Hershey Pennsylvania, and to the Liberty Bell and the Rocky Steps in Philadelphia. The more time I spent with Octavio the more I saw that he was a humble, caring, and loving person. Everyone he met loved his personality and his company. We enjoyed our time together and made it official to be exclusive with each other. When Octavia left, there was a hole in my heart and I started to feel something was missing. We planned on seeing each other in November, during Thanksgiving break. Just to let you all know his mother stayed with him from July until December, because she wanted to meet me. During the long four months, we kept getting to know each other through our long conversation about us, our past, and our future. During the Thanksgiving break I traveled to see him and met his mother, sister, and friends in Juarez, Mexico. I got to meet and talk to Octavio’s mother, his sister, and his good friends. During these conversations I learned that he was the same humble, caring, and loving person I met in July. I was now love and hooked on this man. We had a great time during my visit and I did not want this feeling to stop. I returned home and again I had that feeling that something was missing in my life. I came to the conclusion that it was Octavio.

On December 23, 2024, I asked Octavio to marry me in a video I made in October. He said "Yes!" Now we are getting married on Saturday, April 19, 2025.

I have kissed many frogs, but Octavio is the true love of my life. I am excited to see what the next chapter in our lives will be like.

Conocí a Octavio en Facebook Dates, en abril de 2024. Pensé que estaba en Wilmington, Delaware, pero acababa de visitar a su hermana que vive allí. Cuando me dijo que vive en Juárez, México, mi reacción fue "¡De ninguna manera!". Fue mi hermano amigo Marco quien me dijo que hablara con él y vier cómo las cosa pasen. Seguí el consejo y comencé a tener comunicación diaria con Octavio. Durante una de nuestras conversaciones, me informó que volvería a visitar a su hermana y quería conocerse en persona. A fines de junio regresó a ver a su hermana y nos conocimos. Fue amor a primera vista. Hicimos viajes al Festival de Salsa en Bethlehem, Pensilvania, tubing en el río Rock Park, Maryland, fuimos la ciudad de Nueva York para el 4 de julio, visitamos al Hershey Chocolate World en Hershey Pensilvania y a la Campana de la Libertad y Rocky Steps en Filadelfia. Cuanto más tiempo pasaba con Octavio, más veía que era una persona humilde, cariñosa y amorosa. A todos los que conocía les encantaba su personalidad y su compañía. Disfrutamos de nuestro tiempo juntos y comenzamos nuestra exclusividad. Cuando Octavio se fue, sentí un vacío en mi corazón y comencé a sentir que algo faltaba. Planeamos vernos en noviembre, durante las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias. Solo para que todos sepan, su madre se quedó con él desde julio hasta diciembre, porque quería conocerme. Durante eso largos cuatro meses, nos seguimos conociendo a través de nuestras largas conversaciones sobre nosotros, nuestro pasado y nuestro futuro. Durante las vacaciones de Acción de Gracias viajé para verlo y conocí a su madre, hermana y amigos en Juárez, México. Pude conocer y hablar con la madre de Octavio, su hermana y sus buenos amigos. Durante estas conversaciones, me di cuenta de que era la misma persona humilde, cariñosa y amorosa que conocí en julio. Ahora estaba enamorada y enganchada a este hombre. Nos lo pasamos muy bien durante mi visita y no quería que este sentimiento se detuviera. Regresé a casa y nuevamente tuve esa sensación de que algo faltaba en mi vida. Llegué a la conclusión de que era Octavio.

El 23 de diciembre de 2024 le pedí a Octavio que se casara conmigo en un video que hice en octubre. Dijo "¡Sí!". Ahora nos casaremos el sábado 19 de abril de 2025.

He besado muchos sapos, pero Octavio es el verdadero amor de mi vida. Estoy emocionado por ver cómo será el próximo capítulo de nuestras vidas.
