They usually say that you see your soul mate a couple of times before you actually meet.
We happen to lock eyes twice before Jose decided he would make the first move.
Once at a McDonald’s in high school (Of course) one our favorite spots and one more time after.
Now that we’re sitting here talking about it out loud… He probably wasn’t thinking.

Over the next couple of years as we were growing up and adjusting to life, we faced many trials and tribulations.
In agreement, the ultimate goal was to choose each other.
We are firm believers that love has no correct timeline or order. Life is genuinely what you make it. We have kept God at the center of our relationship, and we've put our trust in him through it all.
Over the past 6 years we have been extremely blessed to watch each other grow into the adults we are now.
I mean, what better way to decide if you want to spend the rest of your life with someone other than adding two mini versions of y’all selves to the mix?
Parenting really brought out that aspect for the both of us.
There’s no perfect way to live your life.
There’s also no correct order.
We started our family very early, but the most common advice that we share is life wouldn’t be “do-able” without each other. Although, we’re in the most chaotic part of parenthood we couldn’t forget to love one another.
We cannot begin to express the love and gratitude we have towards each other. Thank God for Instagram and all the courage Jose had to send such a lifelong meaningful message lol because without it we would have never made it to this point. Here’s to our happy beginning!
