Allyson and Jose met in summer 2022 in Tulsa at a young adults game nights. They got closer and closer as summer went on. They would go to the lake, watch fireworks, and just have fun together. Long summer nights faded into crisp fall days and they began to fall in love. They started dating in October, and things got serious.

Jose met Allyson’s family and friends and she met his. Because Allyson’s family lived in Colorado, Jose’s family adopted her as one of their own, opening their homes for her and providing her with home cooked meals and a built in family.

After dating for a year and a half, Jose proposed to Allyson on June 19, 2023, and she said yes! They moved to Colorado, where Allyson’s family got the chance to welcome Jose with open arms. Their two families became one, and the next step is the alter;)
