Lizzie and Joe connected inauspiciously in the winter going into 2013. &nbsp;At a friend's birthday party,&nbsp;Joe introduced himself only to have Lizzie tell him they had briefly crossed paths at their alma mater, Northwestern University. They discovered they were now neighbors in mid-city Los Angeles, and Joe reached out to Lizzie on facebook asking to borrow a cup of sugar. Six weeks later she responded, and soon after that they started hanging out at Busby's East (Lizzie and Rachael's local dive bar). Between boilermakers and furtive glances, Lizzie and Joe chatted and realized they shared many of the same tastes in books, movies, and cuisine. A&nbsp;romance was soon kindled.&nbsp;

In The Beginning...

When Lizzie and Joe decided to make their relationship official, Joe took her on a very conventional first date: to his sister's boyfriend's house where a gaggle of magicians were eating tacos and watching a David Blaine special. Needless to say she was completely smitten- cilantro and celebrity&nbsp;street magic make for a powerful aphrodisiac.&nbsp;

First Date

Time went by and more #relationshipgoals were achieved: they traveled internationally, moved in to a rent-controlled apartment together, and adopted a rescue pitbull named Totoro. Having totally crushed those milestones, Joe felt like it was time to take the next step- making artisanal branded pickles together! Just kidding- he proposed.&nbsp;

Our wedding is going to be held at a production studio in Burbank on a mini lot called Digiland. The ceremony will begin at 5pm with a reception to follow at the same location.

Some of you might not know that Joe makes a series of playlists called Jorts, named after his affinity for jean-shorts.
