Travel Recommendations

One of the many airports you can fly into is Heathrow. For those wishing to do a bit of traveling or sightseeing before you join us up North for the wedding, we suggest flying into Heathrow. It is an easy commute from London to Northallerton via train, and there is plenty to see and places to stay for a few days. The below is the website we typically use to find our flights for the best price.

Heathrow Airport

When booking your train from London, you will need to look up trains from King's Cross St Pancras to Northallerton. There are a few tips when booking a train : - BOOK EARLY! The tickets open around 4-5 months prior, so set yourself a reminder around May 15th to book your train tickets.- There are multiple options but we suggest getting the direct train with no changes.- Get a Table Seat if your looking for a more comfortable way to travel, or are traveling with multiple people.

Train Transportation From London

Another airport you can fly into is Manchester Airport. Typically this is the cheaper ticket but there is a 13 hour layover in London Heathrow. So if you're looking to save the money and wait it out, this is the airport to fly into. How to get from the Airport to the venue is listed on the Q &amp; A tab under Travel Questions. This a good budget friendly option. This Hotel is a more simple stay still offering bed &amp; breakfast options and english charm.

This stay is a unique find. A B&amp;B that offers fair pricing with a lot of charm. If you're looking for cozy cottage vibes, this is your place to stay. Porch House is the oldest private house in Northallerton and it's played a small part in British Royal history.

Wild Card! If you're wanting to make this wedding weekend more of an experience, there is a "glamp-site" just down the road. Bookable through this link and on AirBNB, these Wigwam stays are for those looking for a bit of a fun stay. The site they're located at is the Sedgewell Barn near Ainderby Steeple.

If you're looking to stay in the area for a few days or prefer a home to a hotel, AirBNBs are a great option for you. There are quite a few options in the area, especially in town. The wedding is near "Warlaby" on the map so keep that in mind when booking. Prices vary on your selection.

This is where the happy couple will be the days leading up to the wedding. If you want to come here to visit with them or even book an Airbnb, you'll be able to enjoy a walk through the Valley Gardens and views of Huntcliff, this beautiful seaside town is a great spot to visit.

Day Trip To Saltburn-By-The-Sea

If your in the North and the weather is on your side, this is a great outdoorsy and free day time activity. Roseberry Topping is a landmark renown in the North, and if you dare, take on the challenge to climb to the top and be rewarded with breath taking views.
