Our Wedding

Dana and Joseph both love serving the communities they are a part of. They were both involved in Tuesday Night Live, a weekly game night on Zoom hosted by Debbie Sanders of the MLV Foundation—a good friend and mentor to them both. Eventually, Joseph became involved with the Oklahoma Council of the Blind, where Dana had been an active member for a few years. Shortly after joining, Joseph decided to help plan the next state convention. He joined a committee with Dana, and as they worked together, he slowly got to know her better. Over time, Joseph began to sense something special developing between them. After a year of friendship, he took a chance and asked Dana on a date—but she declined. Instead of being discouraged, Joseph accepted her decision and focused on getting to know her as a person, valuing their growing friendship above all else. As the convention approached, Dana and Joseph began talking more and made plans to spend time together during the event. To their surprise, by the end of the weekend, they were inseparable. At the close of the convention, they decided to give dating a chance—and they’ve been crazy about each other ever since. After nearly six months together, both felt they had found their soulmate. They often say that what they had been searching for, they discovered in each other, and they are grateful for the time they spent building a strong foundation of friendship before jumping into a relationship. Dana and Joseph extend a heartfelt thank you to Debbie Sanders, the MLV Foundation, and the Oklahoma Council of the Blind for bringing them together—because without these organizations, they would never have met. They are excited to see what God has in store for them as they continue serving together, and they invite you to join them on their journey.

Dana, soon-to-be Mrs. Bundy, is an enthusiastic advocate for both her community and the things she loves. With a passion for dogs, Disney, and nature, she is dedicated to making those around her feel valued and appreciated. Dana cherishes spending quality time with family and friends, and is actively engaged in the Oklahoma Council of the Blind, where she and her fiancé, Joseph, serve together.
Adopted from Okinawa, Japan, at just six days old, Dana has a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and a love for travel. She also has a fondness for all things sparkly and a strong commitment to animal welfare, particularly for dogs and cats.

Joseph has a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the finer things in life, but his greatest passion is his relationship with Jesus Christ. He cherishes quality time with his friends and family and is an active member of FBC Noble Church. An avid traveler, Joseph enjoys exploring new places and experiencing different cultures.
Professionally, Joseph is the founder and president of Wilderness Adventures Ministry, a nonprofit organization he established to offer individuals with disabilities the opportunity to connect with God through outdoor adventures in His creation. His work reflects his commitment to faith, service, and empowering others through meaningful experiences.

Annia and Dana have shared a close friendship for many years, with Annia becoming like an adopted sister to Dana. After serving honorably in the Army for over 20 years, Annia is now pursuing a career in the medical field as a dedicated student. Her compassionate spirit and determination are evident both in her studies and in her personal life.
As the proud grandmother of the flower girl, Mailyni, Annia cherishes her family and finds joy in creating lasting memories. A passionate lover of animals and the outdoors, she enjoys activities like fishing and kayaking. Her adventurous nature and supportive heart have inspired Dana, encouraging her to embrace and enjoy the outdoors despite any physical challenges. Trisha has been a cherished friend of Dana for many years, with their bond growing through their mutual connection with Bobbie Brewer. Their friendship has been enriched by countless memorable moments at Easter celebrations, birthday parties, and lively game nights.
A dedicated home health professional, Trisha is passionate about providing compassionate care to those in need. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her family and friends. She and her husband, Jim, who successfully runs his own automotive shop, are a strong and supportive team both at home and in their community. Known for her generous spirit, Trisha is always willing to lend a helping hand wherever it's needed.

Rae, a devoted dog lover, is a treasured friend of Dana and Joseph, having had the privilege of witnessing their relationship grow and thrive. She and her husband, Michael, share their home with five beloved dogs, whom they lovingly consider their children. Known for her infectious laughter and warm spirit, Rae has a genuine passion for bringing joy to others and making a positive impact in her community.
In her professional life, Rae serves as a dedicated board member for both Wilderness Adventures Ministry and My Limitless Vision Foundation. Monica is Dana’s sister and the proud great-aunt of Theo, the ring bearer. She also shares a special bond with her brother Kent, one of the groomsmen. A dedicated and resilient individual, Monica navigated the challenges of single motherhood while pursuing her education. Today, she is happily married to Larry and finds immense joy in her role as a grandmother.
With a master’s degree in psychology, Monica serves as a business partner at Cliff and Associates, where her expertise as a counselor is highly sought after — her waiting list is a testament to the impact she makes. Specializing in trauma recovery, she offers compassionate support to individuals and families navigating difficult journeys.

Michelle and Dana have shared a close friendship for over 20 years, a bond that first began when Dana worked alongside Michelle’s aunt at the bank. Their connection grew as Michelle began styling Dana’s hair and nails — a tradition that soon extended to Dana’s mom and later her Aunt Pam.
A passionate advocate for empowering others, Michelle became involved with Mary Kay and introduced Dana to the opportunity, inspiring her to become a consultant as well. Michelle finds joy in helping people feel beautiful and confident, combining her talents with a genuine desire to uplift those around her.
When she’s not spending time with her loved ones, Michelle enjoys supporting her husband, Russell, who has a remarkable talent for crafting with metal, wood, rocks, and other materials. Together, they create a home filled with warmth, creativity, and lasting memories.

Joseph first met David in the fall of 2010 when he began attending FBC Noble. David was one of the first adults from the church to invest time in Joseph, quickly becoming a mentor and father figure. Their close bond has grown over the years, with Joseph often turning to David for guidance, prayer, and unwavering support. David’s encouragement has played a significant role in Joseph’s spiritual growth and ministry journey. Joseph frequently acknowledges that he wouldn’t be the man of God he is today without the profound influence of David and the Matlock family. David is deeply committed to his church community. He serves as a deacon, teaches Sunday School, supports the youth ministry, and actively participates in the men’s Bible study. His dedication to serving others is evident in every aspect of his life. Beyond his ministry, David is a devoted family man and a loyal friend, always ready to lend a listening ear or offer wise counsel.
When he’s not at church or spending quality time with loved ones, David’s passion for Longhorn football takes center stage. Whether cheering on his team or discussing the latest game, his enthusiasm for the sport is undeniable. Jarrid, much like his brother David, has been a steady source of guidance and support in Joseph’s life. Serving as a father figure, he is often one of Joseph’s first calls for prayer, advice, or encouragement. Since their friendship began in 2011, shortly after Joseph graduated high school, their bond has only strengthened. Jarrid’s unwavering presence has played a significant role in shaping Joseph into the man he is today.
Professionally, Jarrid is a talented musician with a passion for performing. His musical journey has led him to notable stages, including the Oklahoma Opry, and showcaseing his skills along with his own band. His dedication to his craft and ability to connect with audiences are a testament to his artistic spirit.
Outside of music, Jarrid has a deep appreciation for the outdoors, particularly fishing. He treasures moments spent in nature and values quality time with his friends and family, especially his granddaughter. Stephen serves the city of Oklahoma City and has a passion for the great outdoors, particularly hiking and camping. His love for nature is reflected in his role as the vice president of Wilderness Adventures Ministry, where he helps others experience and appreciate the beauty of the wilderness.
He first met Joseph over ten years ago while attending Randall University, formerly known as Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. Their friendship quickly grew, and they have remained close ever since. Stephen is happily married to his wife, Anne, and together they cherish their time with their two daughters, Heather and Ellie. Whether exploring the outdoors or spending time with family, Stephen brings dedication, warmth, and enthusiasm to all areas of his life.

Zac and Joseph developed a close friendship after Zac began attending their church. With a heart for service and a deep commitment to his faith, Zac prioritizes his relationship with Jesus, followed by his family and friends. He is passionate about supporting his family’s spiritual growth and is always willing to step up when his church community has a need. His dedication is evident through his active participation in the men’s Bible study, led by Joseph, and his involvement in disaster relief efforts, where he uses his skills to serve others and share Christ’s love.

Kent and Dana are siblings, and from the moment Kent met Joseph, they formed an instant connection. Bonded by their shared hobbies and interests, their friendship has grown naturally over time. An avid outdoorsman, Kent especially enjoys windsurfing, but he equally values spending quality time with his family and friends. As the proud grandfather of Theo, the ring bearer, Kent cherishes every moment with his loved ones.
With a passion for the culinary arts, Kent loves barbecuing, grilling, and smoking food — always eager to share a delicious meal. Professionally, he applies his expertise in information technology within the hospitality industry, contributing to innovative solutions and exceptional service. Jeremy and Joseph first crossed paths through New Wilderness Adventures, a men’s ministry dedicated to fostering spiritual growth through outdoor experiences. Their shared love for nature, especially fishing trips to Texoma, quickly strengthened their friendship. Over the years, they have supported and prayed for one another through life’s challenges, forming a lasting brotherly connection rooted in faith.
At home, Jeremy is a devoted husband to Lindsey and a proud father to their two sons, Jase and Jackson. He is passionate about raising his boys to become strong men of God, emphasizing the importance of good manners, integrity, and making a positive impact in the world.

JaNelle is a retired educator with a passion for supporting her family and community. With years of teaching experience, she has positively impacted the lives of countless students. Though retired, her dedication to education continues as she proudly supports her daughter, who carries on the teaching legacy. JaNelle also celebrates her son’s successful transition from military service to his current role as a helicopter pilot for Channel 5 News in Oklahoma City. Known for her generosity and unwavering support, she is a valued member of her church community and a dependable friend. In her spare time, JaNelle enjoys spending time with family, engaging in volunteer work, and tackling crossword puzzles.

Russell is a retired educator with a lifelong dedication to supporting others. During his career, he positively impacted the lives of many students, fostering growth and learning through his passion for teaching. Now enjoying his retirement, Russell remains active by spending time outdoors and contributing to his community. His commitment to family and friends is evident in the care and encouragement he offers. Russell Rutledge

Mason is a close friend of both Joseph and Stephen, with their friendship dating back to their college years. He has built a diverse and meaningful career, starting in the food industry as a server at Cracker Barrel, then transitioning to finance as a business banker for U.S. Bank. Today, Mason serves as a chaplain for a hospice company and also proudly serves as a chaplain in the National Guard.
His dedication to helping others extends to his volunteer work on the board of directors for Wilderness Adventures Ministry. With a true servant’s heart, Mason previously pastored a church in Missouri and shared his knowledge as a CPR instructor for the American Heart Association alongside his father.
Above all, Mason cherishes time spent with his wife, Courtney, and their two children, Ezra and Emery. Whether camping in the great outdoors or creating lasting memories with his family, Mason brings warmth, dedication, and compassion to every aspect of his life.

Cody serves as the youth minister at Emmaus Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, where he is dedicated to guiding and inspiring the next generation. Growing up in Noble, he attended First Baptist Church (FBC) Noble and played a significant role in Joseph’s life. During their senior year of high school, Cody extended a heartfelt invitation for Joseph to attend youth group and church, an experience that sparked Joseph’s deep connection to the church community.
With a passion for pointing others to Jesus in all he does, Cody’s leadership and kindness have left a lasting impact. His influence continues to inspire those around him to grow in their faith and serve others. Cody is happily married to Magan, and together they are raising their three sons—Luke, Matthew, and Kaden. Jacob, known as Dr. Hollenbeck to the Chickasha tribe, earned his medical doctorate from Oklahoma State University and is dedicated to serving his community with compassion and care. Beyond his medical career, Jacob enjoys spending his free time kayaking and cheering on his favorite football teams alongside his sons, Johnny and Theodor.
He is happily married to his wife, Kendra, and together they are actively involved in their church at FBC Noble. Jacob also values his time in fellowship, participating in the men’s Bible study with Joseph, David, and Zac. Recently, he has embraced a passion for grilling and smoking food, finding joy in creating delicious meals to share with family and friends. Devon and Joseph first met in the spring of 2009 when Joseph moved to Noble and began attending FBC Noble. Their friendship quickly deepened, and over the years, they have become like brothers, providing unwavering support, encouragement, and prayers through life’s challenges.
Devon has a passion for sports and enjoys staying active and engaged in the community. His family has strong ties to the oil and gas industry. His younger sister is married with two children, while his mother serves with the Department of Human Services, and his stepfather works as a tax attorney.

An incredible cook, Kathy found joy in bringing family and friends together around the table. She also had a deep love of reading and treasured the moments spent with her loved ones. Her strength, kindness, and positive spirit left a lasting impact on those who knew her.
Kathy’s greatest legacy lives on through Dana, whom she inspired to face any challenge with determination, faith, and an enduring sense of optimism.

Joseph passed away in November 2016, leaving a legacy of warmth, kindness, and a deep appreciation for nature. He found joy in tending to his garden and caring for his lawn, taking pride in cultivating beauty around him. His unwavering faith guided him throughout his life, influencing his actions and relationships.
Though his marriage with Dana’s mother ended when she was young, Joseph remained a loving and meaningful presence in Dana’s life. She treasured the summers spent in Illinois with him and his family, building cherished memories that will forever hold a special place in her heart.
Joseph’s devotion to his family and his gentle spirit left a lasting impact on those who knew him. He also served his country with honor and dedication as a member of the United States Air Force and was a proud Vietnam veteran. His service, love, and enduring kindness will always be remembered.

LeRoy, Joseph's grandfather, passed away in April 2021, leaving a lasting legacy of kindness, generosity, and love. He had a profound impact on the man Joseph is today, teaching him the importance of caring for others and offering help whenever possible. LeRoy was immensely proud of his grandchildren and never missed an opportunity to share stories about them. One of his greatest joys was hearing Joseph preach, and he cherished every chance to witness his grandson’s passion for ministry. Throughout his life, LeRoy wore many hats, always ensuring his family was well cared for. In his later years, his love for animals grew, and he found joy in feeding wild ducks and geese. Among his proudest accomplishments was the trike he built himself, a testament to his creativity and determination. LeRoy’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love will be forever remembered by those who knew him.

Ruth, Joseph's grandmother, passed away in February 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. She dedicated many years to a career in nursing, caring for others with compassion and kindness. After retiring, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, rarely missing a family event.
Ruth had a special place in her heart for animals and flowers, finding beauty and comfort in nature. She also formed deep connections with individuals with disabilities, inspired by her son’s participation in the Special Olympics. Her warmth and empathy shone through in every relationship she built.
Affectionately known as "Crazy Grandma" by her grandkids, Ruth was known for her spirited personality and sense of humor. She loved to have fun, never hesitating to speak her mind. Her grandchildren quickly learned to embrace her playful honesty, knowing it was always delivered with love. Ruth’s vibrant spirit and boundless affection will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Molly is the daughter of Toby and the step-daughter of Debbie. She is an avid reader and sports enthusiast, with a special fondness for the Texas Rangers and the Green Bay Packers. Professionally, Molly works with elementary school students who require additional academic support, a role that reflects her dedication to helping others succeed. She has been a longtime supporter of the visually impaired community and serves as an active volunteer with the MLV Foundation. To Joseph and Dana, she is regarded as a sister, a testament to the close relationships she builds. Molly values time spent with family and friends and finds fulfillment in offering her support wherever it is needed.

Children at the Wedding

As we prepare for the ceremony and reception, we kindly ask guests with young children to consider arranging a babysitter for the evening. If needed, we are happy to assist in finding someone to help watch your children.That said, we completely understand if you prefer not to leave your children with a sitter — you are more than welcome to bring them with you. While children are absolutely welcome, we simply want to acknowledge that the reception may not be especially entertaining for little ones, and some guests might enjoy the opportunity to relax and visit without worrying about childcare.If you do plan to bring your children, please let us know when you RSVP so we can make arrangements to ensure they feel included and have something fun to do during the evening. A few children will already be attending as part of the wedding party or as close family and friends.Ultimately, we want all of our guests — both big and small — to feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you for understanding!

Reception Bar Details

The reception will be held at a winery, and a cash bar will be available for those who wish to enjoy a drink. The winery will be serving only their house-made wines, along with a selection of beer, sangrias, and mimosas.If you choose to partake, we kindly ask that you drink responsibly and remain respectful to those around you. Please note that each guest will be responsible for their own bar tab.Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to celebrating with you!

Reception Entertainment and Dancing

We are excited to share that Etowah Road will be providing live entertainment during the reception, and there will be a dance floor for everyone to enjoy.As you dance and celebrate, we kindly ask that you keep things appropriate, as children will be present. Our goal is to create a fun, welcoming environment where guests of all ages feel comfortable.Please be mindful of those around you and treat fellow guests with respect as we enjoy the evening together.

Guest Conduct and Expectations

We ask all 	guests to be respectful and responsible throughout the evening. Please keep behavior appropriate and considerate of those around you.If you choose to drink, do so in moderation. Overindulging to the point of endangering yourself or others will not be tolerated. Our goal is to ensure that the celebration remains safe, smooth, and enjoyable for everyone.If any behavior becomes disruptive, we will address it directly. Guests may be asked to stop or, if necessary, to leave the event. That said, as long as everyone remains respectful and responsible, we anticipate a wonderful night of celebration with no issues.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Gifts and Contributions

If you would like to bless us with a gift, we kindly ask that you consider choosing something from our registry. However, if you prefer to contribute toward the financial aspects of our wedding, honeymoon, or moving expenses, your support would be sincerely appreciated.For our honeymoon, we’re taking a weeklong Princess Cruise from Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera. In addition to the cruise itself, we’ll have expenses for hotels, transportation, meals before and after the trip, and on-board experiences we’d love to enjoy.We also gratefully welcome prepaid gift cards (such as Visa or Mastercard) or gift cards to stores and restaurants.There is even a link where you can 	gift us things on our honeymoon cruise. Thank you for your kindness and generosity as we begin this exciting new chapter together!

Photos and Videos

We	 kindly request that if you take any photos or videos during the wedding or reception, you share them with us. You can:Post them in our Facebook group, orSend them directly to the couple via text or emailWhen capturing moments involving other guests, please be courteous and respectful.

Share with the Couple

Traditionally, guests write down advice or well wishes for the couple—but since both members of the wedding couple are visually impaired, they’ve came up with a meaningful alternative.A videographer will be present to capture the special day and will also be available before and after the ceremony, as well as during the reception, to record video or audio messages from guests. You’re invited to share words of advice, a favorite moment from the day, or a cherished memory.We kindly ask that all messages remain positive and respectful.If you prefer, you’re welcome to share your message in our Facebook group or send it directly to the couple via text or email. However, if possible, the couple would love for you to record your message with the videographer, as it offers a more personal and lasting way for them to experience your words.

Deadline

Please RSVP by June 1st. By RSVP by this date, allows us plenty of time to plan accordinatingly to have you at the wedding. It will give us a chance to make sure we have a seat for you at the reception if invited, and a plate of food for you.

Apologies

Anyone may attend the wedding ceremony, but due to space restraints, we unfortunately cannot invite everyone to the reception, even though we would love to do so. It our our hope that you are understanding and know that attending the ceremony doesn't mean you will be able to attend the reception. If things change and we end up having to option to invite more people to the reception, then we will let you know. But at this time, the reception is for the wedding party, family and close friends.
