Beautiful Bodega Bay and the Pacific Ocean are just a few miles up the road. Some of our favorite places to visit are The Tides for fresh smoked salmon, Patrick's for some salt water taffy, and fresh seafood and clam chowder from the restaurants surrounding the marina.

Sonoma County is also full of beautiful costal redwoods. There are a bunch of state and local parks to hike and explore including; Armstrong Woods State Park, Sonoma Coast State Park, and Creekside Connector Trailhead. The family property is also 400+ acres filled with redwoods, a creek, and old logging roads that you can explore.

In the nearby town of Freestone there is an amazing bakery called Wildflour Bakery. They have fresh made bread, pastries, and coffee. Our favorites is their fougasse, sticky buns, and goat flat bread.

Sonoma County is wine country! There are thousands of amazing wineries to explore.

Sonoma County also has a lot of breweries for the beer enthusiast, if that's more your vibe.
