1. What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer: The dress code is black tie.
2. Where will the ceremony and reception take place?
Answer: All in the same location, including the cocktail hour, will be at the Elkins Estate.
3. Can I bring a guest?
Answer: We have a limited guest list, but if your invitation includes a plus-one, we would love for you to bring a guest. If you’re unsure, please refer to the RSVP details on your invitation.
4. What time should I arrive?
Answer: Please arrive at 5:00pm for the ceremony, as we will begin promptly. The cocktail hour will start immediately following the ceremony, around 6:00pm. We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early to ensure you have time to find parking and get settled.
5. Is there parking/valet available?
Answer: Yes and valet services will be available.
6. What should I do if I have dietary restrictions or allergies?
Answer: We want everyone to enjoy the food! Please let us know any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we will make sure there are appropriate options available for you.
7. Can I take photos or video during the ceremony?
Answer: We kindly ask that you leave the photography to our professional photographer during the ceremony. There will be plenty of time for photos and videos during the reception, and we encourage you to capture memories then!
8. Are there any accommodations for out-of-town guests?
Answer: Yes, we’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Elkins Estate for our out-of-town guests. You can book a room by emailing stay@theelkinsestate.com mentioning our wedding. Be sure to book by 9/3/25 to ensure availability.
9. What will the weather be like? Should I prepare for anything special?
Answer: We’ve planned for the ceremony to be indoors.
