Separated by distance, a pandemic and busy with work/family, Joe and Bridget stumbled upon each other via a dating app, Bumble. After both swiping right, Bridget messaged Joe regarding his profile prompt alluding to his love for country music. The conversation flowed from there and within five short days, Joe asked Bridget to join him for drinks. As the true gentleman, Joe drove to Bridget's hometown where they shared drinks, appetizers and endless conversation at Press 195. After many weeks of dating, the connection was clearly something special as they continuously closed down restaurants and bars. Bridget was thrown in to meeting Joe's family on his 30th surprise birthday party at their house. Not only did she have to overcome meeting his family she had to get through the interrogation of his friends which was no easy feat.

Bridget’s family always split their time between Rockville Centre and Southold, which was always special to her. Joe took the trip to Southold to meet the Kiernan's and quickly learned why this was her favorite place.

Fast forward to 2022…..Joe didn’t stop there with the surprises! He developed a game plan to bring Bridget to her favorite place and pop the question! Through out their time together they fell in love with a winery on the North Fork and that’s where he asked! Bridget said yes but, yet again, Joe had another trick up his sleeve. He took her to a bar to have drinks with her family and friends to celebrate the engagement! They can't wait to celebrate again with all of you.
