One swipe right on Tinder and a date at the Peekskill River Front set the scene for our (not so typical) story.

Joseph and I went to Marist College. Joseph and I were in one class together and all I could think was "This poor guy is in a classroom with all women." I had no idea I would meet him again.

Fast forward to 2018, Joseph and I met up for ice cream at the Peekskill River Front for ice cream. He was shy and quiet. I couldn't stop talking. (Shocking, I know.) From there, we knew we had both found our best friend. I knew I truly loved Joseph, and he truly loved me, when he agreed to go on one Disney trip that turned into 10 more....and more pending...

After five years together, we decided to become roommates. (I had been asking since two years in, but to be fair, Soccorsa makes really good chicken cutlets Joseph could not live without.) Joseph and I found our forever home in Fishkill, and after 357 days of watching each piece be built, we finally moved in together! Rae could not be happier to have another person to beg for cookies.

In August 2024, we hopped on a plane to Fort Lauderdale to our 4th Disney Cruise. On that flight, before we even buckled our seatbelt, I asked "Are you going to propose on this trip?" I'm sure you can imagine his response. It was the same one I got when I asked the last three hundred times. "No Kimberly, I want to live together first." On August 24th, 2024, on the rainiest day I have ever experienced in the Bahamas, (six years later), for the first time in my life, I was absolutely speechless when I saw Joseph on one knee. It was the best day of my life, even better than seeing the Eras Tour.

I am the luckiest girl in the world to be able to stand by Joseph's side as his partner and Best Friend. I can't wait for our biggest adventure to begin with all of you in the Most Magical Place on Earth!
