Our Wedding

Joe and Samantha first met one another during the height of quarantine at the start of the Covid-19 surge in the spring of 2020. They spent their first summer together enjoying the outdoors. Joe taught Samantha about fishing and Samantha taught Joe about horses. They hit it off and quickly became inseparable. As the seasons began to change they went on their first antelope hunt together in September of 2020 where they tent camped in 10 degree weather and woke up to frost on the ground, but nonetheless filled their antelope tag. Joe tells Samantha often "I still cant believe you came on the antelope hunt with me!" the two of them now laugh about the experience when reminiscing. November of 2020 Joe and Samantha took a nice getaway trip to Bodega Bay where Joe had planned their engagement. On November 14, 2020, surrounded by some of their closest friends, and a beautiful beach sunset, Samantha said "Yes" to Joe. Over the next year they spent many hours continuing to fish, hunt, ride horses, and spend time with their friends and families together. Through the hard times, and the even harder times, Joe and Samantha have stuck to one another for strength, laughs, and love. They look forward to sharing more of their love story and their wedding day with you all as close family and friends.

Kinship Ranch is in a somewhat remote location. Being 50.2 miles from Reno NV, onto the CA side of the boarder we strongly encourage our guest to have safe transportation back and forth. It is a reasonable drive from Reno to Cromberg, however given Reno having more hotels/casino accommodations then out in Cromberg, Reno may be your best option for lodging. Please understand we are unable to provide transportation to the wedding venue and back to your lodging destination, so please plan accordingly. We greatly want our friends and family to have fun, and partake in celebrating but do understand due to the remote location, there are no Uber/Lyft/Ride share options.
