St. Thomas, USVI was chosen as an ode to Shanie's late parents who were married on the island in July 1978.

Magens Bay, located on the north end of St. Thomas, will be the backdrop for Joseph & Shanie's vows. The ceremony will take place at the head of a deep bay, tucked between two lush, emerald green peninsulas. It is a tropical paradise offering unmatched beaches, gorgeous native trees, and stunning flowers.

St. Thomas, USVI is a US territory, so a passport is not required for travel. You can travel to the island with a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license.

In St. Thomas the U.S. dollar is the only currency accepted. Credit cards are not accepted at all venues, so plan to carry cash.

The island does not have Uber or Lyft. However, there are a variety of transportation options. You can enjoy a ride around the island via safari bus, private driver, taxi, rent a car, or travel on the Vitran public bus system. If you choose to rent your own car, remember the rule of the road is to drive on the left.
