Guest arrival to Castle Doria. The Castle is in the pedestrian zone of Portovenere. From the main square, there is a 0.3 mile, 150-foot paved walk that takes roughly 15-20 minutes to complete. We advise guests to wear comfortable shoes on the walk and change into appropriate footwear at the Castle. A designated walking shoe storage area will be provided.
The wedding will begin promptly at 5 pm. We recommend getting to the Castle no later than 4:50.
Traditional civil ceremony conducted in Italian with English translation in the Castle's Giardino Ipostila.
