Our Wedding

Before I hop into our beginnings and timeline, there's a foundation of our story that's more than necessary to build. Eleven years ago, I stepped foot into Tehillah Church. It became my new church and family. God is so good, and here at Tehillah is where my life changed, all for His honor and glory. When I began attending the junior high youth group, I met Joseph for the first time. He was wearing his khaki shorts and had very short hair. Through the years, we'd have small exchanges, but we were just students and acquaintances in church. The years continued to pass, and I can recall him in high school as one of the cool-kids with his now-curly-hair. I remember when he gave His life to Christ and the wonderful change that took place. God is so incredible! Joseph began to smile and shine His light for Christ, and he was all-in for Jesus. (Note: Something special about him is that he has a love for the youth and seeing them serve the Lord. He is also kind, considerate, and helpful. There's an abundance of things that make Joseph the wonderful man he is.) Fast forwarding to 2024, this is where our story begins. We had always seen and known each other for many years, and we would communicate and talk because of ministry or being around church family. However, this is the year that things changed for the greater. God allowed our paths to cross, and in His excellent timing, we began to have feelings for each other. One thing led to another, and with the guidance of our leaders, he pursued me and we started courting. In March of 2025, he proposed, and I said yes! It was a day to remember surrounded by our loving family and friends. This past year with him has been the most wonderful thing, and I am so grateful to God for Joseph's life and who he is. He is such a wonderful man who loves God and loves me. He has a kind heart, and he is sincere, helpful, funny, and much more. I thank God because of everything He has done. This was all because of God, and it took place in His perfect timing. -Celeste
