Well...it all dates back to April 29th, 2022.

I had messaged Joe “Happy Birthday" on Instagram. We started chatting about life and how things were going for each other, only to find out that we were both recently single for the first time in years. He was in no way looking for a relationship and neither was I…but it seemed like it was in the cards for us to both reconnect at the perfect time!

We had already known each other since we were 12 but had never really gotten close. After talking & texting for months we finally met up at my house. We ended up talking for hours! Then other nights until 3 or 4 in the morning sometimes! I found myself in awe at the way this man handled himself and carried conversations! There was so much more depth to him than I could’ve ever imagined!

After more time passed I started realizing very quickly that I was falling in love with this man as he was with me unbeknownst to me! We kept meeting up at night while Kaylee was asleep to focus on navigating a possible relationship together and wanted to make sure that I was sure about him before I introduced him to my daughter. Things continued to go so well that I finally decided to introduce him to Kaylee. We met up for breakfast at Airport Diner where we chatted about life and kids and Kaylee's friends. I knew things were on the right track when he taught her how to shoot straws at me at the table! Silly kids!

Things continued to go wonderfully until finally one night I mustered up the courage to give him a smooch and tell him that I was falling in love with him. He looked me in the eyes and told me he loved me and would take care of Kaylee & I forever if I would let him…and the rest is HISTORY!

Fast forward to now, 3 1/2 years together and lifetime to go. We cannot wait to share this special day with each and every one of you. You mean the absolute world to us.
