Yes! There is a parking lot at the church, however, the priest said that they lock up the school yard and all cars must be moved after the ceremony.

There is street parking on July 3 until 11:59pm. There is NO STREET PARKING on the 4th!

July 4th weekend in Rockaway is one you don't want to miss. There will be a big crowd on the beach that day, so to ensure a great spot- we have hired cabana boys to get us situated in the morning with setting up chairs, tents, coolers, and games. We will be ordering some pizza/ pasta salads, and other small eats. Lifeguards are supposed to be on duty, however these past few weeks there hasn’t been lifeguards on our beach. It is still undetermined if there will be a lifeguard on duty so please be careful when swimming and please don’t go swimming alone!! Fireworks start at dusk! We live just a short walk up the block, but we WILL be PROVIDING a Private Porter John to be used only by our party :)

We don't have any room blocks, however there are a few hotels in the Great Neck area such as The Inn of Great Neck and The Andrew Hotel. If you plan on staying in Rockaway, there is The Rockaway Hotel (3 day minimum), and Rodgers Inn. Please reach out to us if you need help finding lodging!

No! No street parking on the 4th near 127th. You can drive a mile and a half to Riis Park Parking lot and pay (I believe it is $20 cash). Uber and Lyft are readily available. Parking fills up in the lot so it is best to get there early! Another option for parking is to reach out to me personally if you would like to drive and I can try and arrange a spot for you close by at a friends… we will try our best!

If it rains- party is cancelled with no rain date. BUT doesn’t mean we can’t still party!!! Please contact Joey/ Kate or their family to stay posted on the plans!
