Kalmar Village offers cottages and rooms to rent. They are all a three-night minimum, and we welcome all our guests to join us for a long weekend getaway to celebrate!

The minimum amount of 24 units is guaranteed to be made available for wedding guests to reserve up until 6/1/2024. If the 24 units are not all rented by that time, some may be released for rental to the general public. If units are still available after 6/1/24, wedding guests will still have the opportunity to reserve a unit on a first-come first-served basis.

Reservations must be made directly with Kalmar Village/TradeWinds and NOT through a 3rd party website for booking (e.g., booking.com etc.). When reserving directly through the Kalmar Village website, wedding guests should indicate in the comment section that they are attending the Blackburn Estevez wedding.

Kalmar Village offers a variety of accommodations which range from two- and three-room vintage Cape Cod cottages set around wide green lawns, to spacious three-room cottages located directly the beach and a family suite overlooking the pool.

Accommodations at Kalmar Village include daily maid service, cable flat-screen TVs and complementary Wi-Fi. Most of our units feature a nicely equipped kitchen or kitchenette, and a dining area, and an outdoor grill and picnic table are included with each cottage. There is also an onsite laundromat, and kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals.

Tradewinds, tucked off to one side of Kalmar Village, is a separate, neighboring hotel which was acquired by the Prelack family in the 1970s, and has been recently renovated. Accommodations here include all of our resort amenities such as access to our 400-foot private beach and sparkling in-ground swimming pool, nightly bonfires at our beach fire pit, daily maid service, kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals, and a coin-operated laundry.

In addition to offering a small selection of three-room cottages, Trade Winds provides yet another category of unit, one-room efficiencies, which complement Kalmar’s larger offerings. In the shoulder-season months, some units at Trade Winds are dog-friendly (with prior approval, please).
