Since our reception is several months past our wedding date, we invite you to wear anything comfortable! The bridal party will be wearing semi-formal clothing, but is not required for any of our guests!

Blackwoods catering provides Champagne Chicken as the main entree for any wedding reception. We have added a second meat option, Pork Loin. Sides will include: Salad Bar, Rolls and butter, Butter and Chive Whipped Potatoes, Sautéed Green Beans

Our dinner will consist of a buffet style set up.

A salad bar is a part of the buffet dinner, but the main entree will consist of meat only options.

Coffee, water and punch will be provided with dinner. A fully stocked liquor bar will be available as well.

Of course! We have a great DJ who is ready to have us dance the night away. Please submit songs for the DJ when you submit your RSVP!

We will have the following available: Photo Booth from 630pm to 1030pm, Outdoor patio with a fire pit and bistro lighting.

You're in luck! Blackwoods Event Center is connected to the AmericInn and is accessible via stairwell, about 5 steps, to the hotel lobby area.

We have blocked 10 rooms so far at AmericInn. The manager will call us should our limit be reached or need to be expanded. So please call AmericInn Proctor to book your room should you chose! Just ask to book under the "LaValley Wedding Reception" and you will receive a room discount.
