In modern day fashion, our love story all started with a swipe. Four days after both swiping right on each other on Bumble, we met for our first date at Whiskey Cake in Katy, Texas. Jacob picked me up from my parents' house where my mom and I were anxiously looking out the window waiting for his arrival, asking as each car passed, "Is that him?!" This was my first Bumble date, and I had no idea what to expect. I, of course, had a glass of red wine to calm my nerves before the date, not knowing that Jacob and I would later share two delicious bottles throughout the duration of our SIX hour dinner date. We were both instantly smitten.

The following year brought the meeting of friends, family, and taking various trips together. It all seemed like a fairytale. Our lives seamlessly blended together, and we instantly felt a part of each other's lives, as if we had always been there. We have grown to share the same interests in wine, golf, and even seven hours of commercial free football every Sunday! After several rounds of apartment hopping, came the purchase of our house in Spring Branch. And shortly after that, we brought home Bear, our sweet, clumsy, and very large, chocolate lab.

In our four years together, we have been blessed with love that never seems to run out. The way we care for each other continues to reach new heights with each passing day, and the way that we are loved by our friends and family continues to amaze us. We are so excited to see how our love continues to grow, and to share our union in marriage with those that we love the most!
