Go for a hike, see a show, do some yoga, or just check out the view of the historic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Located only a few miles outside the city, its home of Morrison, CO is a quaint and perfect place to have a drink and take in the sunshine.
Tennyson Street is a lively and fun stretch of bars and restaurants, a great place for travelers to explore, and a fun stop for late night drinks and food. Pop into Lucy's for a Juicy Lucy and a Lucy Spritz!
Where one of Tim and Josey's first dates took place, visit the beautiful and world renowned Denver Art Museum. Lovingly referred to as "The DAM" this gorgeous building is commonly home to exhibitions that make their way around the globe.
A favorite borough of Tim and Josey's where the ceremony and reception will be held, RiNo has an amazing brewery, food, and art scene!
Spend a slow afternoon touring the grounds of the Botanic Gardens. A staple activity for Tim and Josey during the holidays.
If you are looking for a quick hike close to town that still offers beautiful views, check out St. Mary's.
Simply put, Sam's No. 3 is one of the best breakfasts in town. Especially if you're looking to cure a hangover. Be advised wait times can get long with larger groups, which only speaks to the quality but when we're looking for an indulgent breakfast, Sam's is our go to!
Looking for the cheapest beer in the MLB? Or maybe just picturesque views of the sunset and mountains on Friday night? Catching a Rockies game is one of our favorite Denver, summertime activities! Tickets are always cheap (we recommend "Rockpile" tickets or tickets in right or left outfield for best views of the mountains) and it's a great way to spend an evening in Denver. Catch the game on Friday then meetup with the Wedding Party in Larimer Square for a post-rehearsal drink (or two, or three)!
Izzio Bakery in Denver Central Market is the premier pastry/breakfast spot in town. With lighter fare options, it's a great alternative to Sam's No. 3. Denver Central Market and surrounding area has a few other quality restaurants and in general is a good way to spend an hour or 2 on Saturday or Sunday morning!
If you're into great beer, good food, and relaxed vibes, the Schoolyard Beer Garden is a must-visit while you're in town! Set at the historic Evans School, this spot has a huge outdoor patio (over 5,000 square feet!) with plenty of open-air seating, plus a cool indoor area that used to be the school’s old boiler and engine rooms from 1904.
It’s the perfect place to chill, grab a bite, and raise a glass to the weekend!
This one hurt... But if you happen to be looking to catch a certain football game the 30th at 10am, Hayter's is the resident OSU bar (we do not endorse this team or establishment).
