5 Days To Go!

1. Why are we getting married in Colorado when we’re both from the Midwest?

When Josh and I were deciding what we wanted to do for our wedding, we decided on a few non-negotiables: we wanted a venue that was different, beautiful, and meaningful to our relationship. Colorado was an easy choice, because not only is the scenery to die for, but we got engaged nearby in Breckenridge. We understand it is not the most accessible or conventional choice, but we hope to share everything we love about this venue with all of our guests.

2. I received a Save the Date/Invite but I am not able to attend, how should I let Josh/Marie know?

Our wedding is a little different, being that it is located quite a distance from most of our guests. We know that some of our guests may not be able to attend, for whatever reason! If you know you are unable to attend before formal invites are sent, please feel free to message either one of us to let us know. Otherwise, just RSVP by the specified date. It helps us to know who is/isn’t able to attend as soon as possible so we can plan accommodations for everyone.

3. What is the accommodation situation?

Like we stated in the formal invitation, the venue for our wedding includes on-site lodging for a majority of our guests the night of the wedding (so please RSVP as soon as you are able to if you would like to be included in the lodging guest count!). These rooms are complimentary and we are excited to be able to make this an option for our guests! These rooms are located in various cabins throughout the venue’s property, so they are not comparable to a hotel stay but they are all very comfortable and cozy. Some of the cabins are “group” cabins and contain multiple rooms within the same building. We will do our best to make sure everyone is familiar with other guests in their cabin (if applicable). If these accommodations make you uncomfortable we totally understand. We are not booking a hotel block, but please check-out the “Travel” page of our website for our recommendations of places to stay!

4. Can I bring my kids?

As stated on our invite, we kindly ask that you do not bring your kids along unless they are explicitly invited. We have a very limited guest count due to our venue location, so we ask that guests are mindful and considerate of this.

5. When should I arrive and where should I park?

Unless you are told otherwise, guests are welcome to start arriving to the venue beginning at 4:30pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We highly recommend using the address listed and mapping your travel ahead of time, as our venue is not located directly in the town of Pine. There are some parking slots located on the south side of the venue building, along with a parking lot on the north end.

6. What if I have a dietary restriction?

Our reception will include a cocktail hour with appetizers and a buffet for dinner. Please list any dietary restrictions as directed when you complete your RSVP.

7. Is there a dress code?

While we will not enforce a certain dress code, we would ask that if guests are able, they dress semi-formally (ideally no jeans, tennis shoes, etc.). The decor is springtime pastels, and the bridesmaids will all be in different colors. We would love for our guests to have fun and wear whatever color they choose, besides white of course:)

8. Do you have a registry?

We do have a registry located on this website (see the “Registry” tab). We are registered through The Knot, Target and will also have a Honeymoon Fund. However, the most important thing to us is that guests are able to attend our wedding, and we know this is not cheap. Your presence is the greatest gift:)
