Get ready for this wild ride of a meet-cute!

Josh and Heather's story begins on a Monday evening. They both happened to be at the same gas station (Speedway) filling up their cars. Heather had moved down from Alaska to Ohio within the last year and still had her bright yellow Alaska license plates on her car. They are hard to miss. Josh certainly noticed them, in fact it is what led to their first conversation.

"You're a long way from home" said Josh.

That one simple sentence started a conversation between strangers that would lead to you visiting this page now.

After meeting up for coffee twice for "non-dates", Heather and Josh met up at Young's Jersey Dairy for mini-golf and ice cream. This was also a "non-date" but quickly turned into something more. Heather and Josh stayed out that night until midnight talking in the parking lot.

Josh and Heather agreed the next meeting would be a real date. They never looked back from there! They both knew very quickly that each other was "the one".

On February 3rd, 2024 (Heather's birthday), Josh asked her to be his wife at Cox Arboretum after 7 months of dating. She immediately said "Yes!" several times.

They are so very excited to start their life together.
