We met in 2017 at a church camp where we were both attending at the time; we were just becoming friends, and that is all it would be for years. But over the years we both started to feel these underlying feelings that would pop up and it would show in the way we interacted with each other. Over the years of our friendship, we continued to get closer and closer and our friends and family around us always joked about us liking each other and we would always say no. But eventually, God brought us together after five years of friendship, and we confessed our feelings for each other. At first we courted for a few months so we could get to know each other better, and after those months were over we were finally official and we were the happiest people alive. We dated for two and a half years before he finally proposed after I had been asking him questions about when he was going to propose and him doing everything in his power to keep the secret from me so that he could keep the proposal a surprise. Overall, God has blessed our relationship over and over again, and we are so blessed to have each other.
