Things to Do

Food

Hattie B's — Authentic Nashville hot chicken served with amazing sides and any spice level. A must-visit if you've never been to Nashville.

Pancake Pantry — Two locations in Nashville! The best pancakes / breakfast you can have. There will likely be a line out the door, but it moves very quickly!

Redheaded Stranger — One of Carolina and Josh's first date spots. Unique tacos in a restaurant with so much personality.

Little Hats — Authentic Italian deli in Carolina’s neighborhood, great for lunch or dinner for sandwiches or pasta.

Velvet Taco — While on the topic of tacos, this place has some of the most unique tacos you can find. For example, imagine chicken tikka masala wrapped up in a taco, yeah, they have that.

Hawkers — Asian fusion street food really close to our reception location.

St Vito — If you're lucky enough to get a reservation, this is one of Carolina and Josh's favorite spots ever. Sfincione is their specialty, which is essentially a pizza using focaccia bread. Need I say more?

Dumpling House — Charming house with all kinds of dumplings and boba, and a lovely patio if the weather is nice!

WingBasket - one of the best wing places around.

Coffee

Monamie — The quaintest, cutest coffee shop with the most uniquely flavorful drinks. This place won Carolina and Josh's coffee shop top pick based on flavor and vibes.

Elegy Coffee — This place has Josh's favorite drink called Black and White. Marshmallow cream over dark cold brew, complementary pairing.

GlassHaus — Watch some glassmaking while enjoying a cup of joe.

Bongo Java — Board game coffee date, anyone?

Steadfast — A unique neighborhood coffee shop with breakfast options and a beautiful outdoor area.

The Perch — The best crepes you'll ever have (they have coffee too).

Drinks

Attaboy — Guaranteed to get a drink you'll like. There's no menu, just tell the bartender what you like and what allergies you may have, and they'll craft your new favorite drink.

Tiger Bar — 1930's circus-themed bar. Creative atmosphere, snacks, and the best grasshopper drink you can find.

Americano Lounge — Coffee shop bar that often has Jazz. One of the happy couple's first locations together and has a killer espresso martini. Also where Josh and Carolina went on their first date!

Green Hour — Okay, this place also has a great Grasshopper and is a chocolate/coffee shop during the day. It also has a fun green atmosphere and a unique absinthe experience.

Grandpa Bar — Last coffee shop bar, promise. Great personality for a bar, leans heavily into the grandpa feel with estate sale furniture and sometimes a Werther's original to go with your drink. If you like espresso martinis, you have to go here.

Butterlamp Bread & Beverage — Tucked away in East Nashville, and just as it sounds! Enjoy fresh baked bread and wine pairings, as well as delicious chocolate chip cookies.

Activities

Adventure Science Center — A great way to spend an evening that Carolina and Josh love to revisit. So many fun things to learn and explore. Planetarium is a must!

Radnor Lake — A favorite hiking spot, easy walk around the lake that will take around 1.5-2 hours unless you get caught up skipping stones.

So many great parks!
Centennial, Bicentennial, Granny White, Smith, and Ellington to name a few. Each have its own bits of fun and greenery. You can't go wrong.

So many great museums too!
Frist Art Museum, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens, Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Parthenon (which is also located at Centennial park, maybe you can kill two birds with one stone).

And, a couple of other Nashville favorites — the Pedestrian Bridge and Love Circle for views of the city!
