By July 31, please! Formal invitations will be mailed out the first week of July, so check your mailboxes. Contact Kristin or Josh if yours is missing.

We encourage all guests to come in cocktail attire. For men, wearing a suit and tie, or dress pants and a dress shirt is encouraged. For women, knee or mid-length dresses or jumpsuits would be appropriate.

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to allow time for parking and finding a seat. The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM LEESBURG, VA: Please note, traffic driving north to Frederick on Friday afternoons is often very heavy. From our own experience, please anticipate it taking 20-25 minutes longer than what your GPS says it will be :) Anyone who is not seated at 4:00 PM will be escorted directly to cocktail hour and will be unable to witness the ceremony.

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside on a maintained lawn. Ladies, we recommend a block heel or wedge to be most comfortable! The reception will take place in a renovated barn, with AC.

Yes! Bluebird Manor offers complimentary parking, within a short walking distance to the ceremony and reception sites.

As much as we would love for each of our guests to have a plus one, we will only be able to accommodate those specifically listed on your invitation.

We have decided to keep our wedding as an adults-only event, with the exception of children in the wedding ceremony. Please refer to your invitation & RSVP to see which members of your family are invited to join.

Immediately following the ceremony, Josh & Kristin will have a receiving line to greet every guest as they transition to cocktail hour. During cocktail hour, light hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine will be served. Dinner will be served at the reception, followed by dancing with a LIVE BAND! (Can you tell that we're excited?!)
