Our Wedding

It all began at our churchs young adult ministry, our paths crossed. For months, a connection grew between us. There were stolen glances, quiet observations from across the room, and conversations filled with laughter. Rylie, oblivious to Joshs interest, navigated lifes twists and turns. But Josh waited. He knew he wanted to ask Rylie out. After a few attempts to bump into her, he finally did and asked her on a date. Rylie, surprised and wrestling with her own self-doubts, hesitated for a moment. Some might say she said no at first - but really, it was a yes waiting to happen. Our first date was on October 5th, and from that night on, something special started to take shape. By November 2nd, we officially became a couple. When it came to the proposal, Josh knew Rylie wanted to be completely surprised. So, he came up with a plan, a very detailed one. Josh suggested to go dancing before our Valentine’s Day dinner, a homage to a sweet moment from the month before. After driving around “looking for a good dancing spot,” Josh led her to a local theater, where we danced to our song under the lights. As the music played, Josh got down on one knee. Rylie was completely stunned, and of course said Yes! We got engaged on February 14, 2025, and now we cannot wait to celebrate our love with all of you on August 2, 2025!
