We met on a field trip in one of our Ecology classes at UNL. The field trip was to Shoemaker Marsh just north of Lincoln (which is where we took our engagement photos!) We got paired up in a group and continued talking/working on lab projects together throughout the semester. We started dating at the beginning of December and have been together for five years now! We adopted our dogs Tanner in May 2021 and Beau in March 2023. We got engaged on June 2, 2023 at the Sunken Garden in Lincoln.
