Mid Pandemic, Hunter accepted his first teaching job and moved to Greenville, Texas to pursue his career while Josh was still in Dallas working. After work one day, Hunter did the only thing to-do in Greenville.. He set his distance to 100+ miles and swiped away on Tinder. He came across Josh and swiped immediately and much to his surprise, it was a match, again!

Josh reached out first to say hello and to reconnect. Hunter left Josh on read, unintentionally, for 2 weeks, and to this day Josh won't let him forget it.

When Hunter finally acknowledged Josh the two finally made plans to meet up. Due to the distance between them and being a school night, the two opted to meet in the middle at a cute restaurant on the lake in Rockwall, Texas.

After that first date, a weekend of wine dates, bar hoping, and brunches followed suit. They ended up hanging out for 6 straight days!

Josh would drive every Wednesday to Greenville (1 hour commute each way) to have wine and dinner at Landons Winery. Every Friday, Hunter would sprint out of the school and drive to Dallas to spend every ounce of time with Josh.

At the end of that school year, the two decided to move in together in Dallas and they have been inseparable ever since.
