As we all know, Josh has no game, so he resorted to Bumble, where the girl has to message first. A couple thousand swipes later, in 2019, he finally saw Kara, who admired not only his sense of humor and good looks, but also his bio- “I ain’t first class but I ain’t white trash.”

They soon made plans to meet up, but they were foiled by Kara. Josh decided to shoot his shot again and they decided to meet up at Brookside. To make things less awkward, Kara suggested that they bring some friends. Upon arriving to Brookside, Kara realized that Josh brought his sisters and their significant others. Although Kara now had to impress not only Josh but also his sisters, the night turned out well.

Since Josh lived in Southern Maryland, they only got to see each other on weekends. Fast forward to August of 2021, Josh is a home owner and Kara has just moved into his fixer upper. After countless nights at The Tiki Bar and the Pub, Josh realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Kara. He proposed behind his parents house among the blue bells and the river.

Kara, Josh, and their new puppy Lenny are now counting down the days until they say “I do!”
