Kristie and Josh met in Ocean City, Maryland while she was attending an annual car show with her family and Josh was on a golf trip. Josh and Kristie had heard of each other through mutual connections, but they had no idea that night would change everything. One month later, Josh asked Kristie to be his girlfriend in the parking lot of Freddy Hill Farms after a highly competitive game of mini golf.

Kristie and Josh wanted to explore somewhere new so they booked a road-trip to Asheville, North Carolina. On Friday, March 31st they set out on a mission to find a hiking spot along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Kristie pulled over to take photos of every scenic overlook they passed by. This one particular overlook was close to the peak of the mountain where they were able to see a full panoramic view of the Blue Ridge mountains and valleys that stretched for miles.

After a few moments of taking in the view, Kristie turned around to find Josh on one knee. Without hesitation and no doubt in her mind, she said YES!

Over the past four years, they have explored 8 states, one country, attended 18 weddings, white water rafted/camped 4 rivers, and always returned home with new friends and memories they made along the way.
