I joined small group at church to meet new friends, NOT a boyfriend…and had a helpless crush on Josh from across the room for a YEAR. Josh and I won a card game as partners 5 times in a row. I wondered if Josh liked me too, but just giggled my way through the game not making eye contact. Two and a half years later, we still hope to make a great team.

Josh asked me out to dinner a year later. He later took me to Nigeria to meet his family four months into dating! We traveled a lot (by OG's standards), had many more fun dates, laughs, tears, gains, and losses, and learned much about how to do life together.

Two years and some months later, Josh proposed on top of a mountain on a deck that I built with my family. I enthusiastically took the ring, forgetting to say yes at that moment. (I clarified my answer, obviously!) We cannot wait to celebrate with you all. We are so thankful for the love of our friends and family, who have supported us as we navigate through dating, engagement, and soon, marriage.
