Do I have to book accomodation on site?
Absolutely not! If you are one of our distant travellers looking to stay somewhere overnight, there are a variety options for accomodation, we would suggest on Bribie Island as this is still nice and close!
Do I have to stay the whole weekend?
We suggest January 28th - 30th 2026. However, there are no constraints on how little or long you stay, we will be hanging around the venue to enjoy everything it has to offer including a picnic dinner on the lawn the afternoon before and a much needed recovery by the pool following our wedding. *non compulsory of course*
Is this an adults only event?
In the nicest possible way, we want to protect your little people's eyes and ears, they are welcome for entire weekend but will be unable to attend the reception beginning at 5pm.
When is the best time to book accommodation?
As a guest of the wedding, you will receive access to accommodation booking on site for 30 days prior to the general public release. You are eligible to book from the 1st of November 2024. This is to ensure that our nearest and dearest receive the best possible opportunity to plan their stay in advance before sell-out!
How do I get from the onsite accomodation to the wedding ceremony?
Nothing beats an all inclusive location! It is a short stroll between the accomodation venue to our ceremony location. The ceremony will begin at 3.00pm at The Pavilion, located on the grass outside Sandstone Point Hotel. Please arrive approximately 15-30 minutes prior.
kick-ons?
The end of the reception at 11pm will only be the end of the night if you let it. Kick-on's will continue upstairs in the main bar area until we get kicked out *2am*. Whatever happens after that is up to you!
What should I wear?
Cocktail style wear will be perfect. Aim for elegant and comfortable. For the ladies, mini or midi length dresses and for the gents, dress pants with optional tie and jacket.
