Can I RSVP online?

YES! Please RSVP using this website and the RSVP tab. Remember to include your meal preference and any dietary restrictions in the RSVP for you and your family. If you are not able to access the online RSVP, you can text 567-215-6004 and we will take care of it for you.

When should I RSVP by?

AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! Having your RSVP in will help us organize our catering and food options, including special food requests like gluten free options, etc. Please RSVP as soon as you can, but NO LATER THEN May 1st, 2025.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the venues?

The ceremony will be held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church: 222 East Main Street, Loudonville, OH 44842. The Church has a large parking lot. There will be signage by the doors leading into the sanctuary where you will be greeted and seated. The reception will be held at Byland Farm: 2630 State Route 60, Loudonville, OH 44842, just a short 5 minute drive from the church, and a straight shot up route 60. GPS directions don't always take you to the driveway, as the house sits back from the road, so please look for the large BYLAND FARM sign at the end of the driveway, as well as wedding signage and balloons. The driveway is long and signage will lead you behind the barn or in a field for parking. If you aren't able to walk on gravel, feel free to drop off guests at the house before parking.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be indoors, and the reception will be outdoors. Our dinner will be served under a large tent, but other activities, including cocktail hour, will take place outside the tent.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

While this is an outside reception at the farm, we would still love for you to dress your best. Please, no jeans, and save the white for our Bride.

What will the weather be like in May in Ohio?

As we all know, Ohio weather is pretty unpredictable. However, May 25th is generally pretty warm during the day and cool when the sun goes down. Bringing layers will help you stay comfortable.

Is this wedding children friendly?

ABSOLUTELY YES!!! What is the point of having all of our loved ones together to celebrate our love, if half of the family (the kids) can't be there!? We love our little cousins and friends, so please bring them with you. We have a kid's meal option, as well as many kid friendly drinks and games to keep them entertained all night long.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

A variety of appetizers, beverages, and popsicles will be served during cocktail hour. Dinner service will include Byland's beef brisket or mushroom swiss chicken, served with twice baked potatoes, corn, salad, and rolls. We are also offering a kid's meal: boneless chicken wings served with mac and cheese, salad and rolls. Our caterers can make almost every accommodation for food allergens, so if you are gluten free, dairy free, or have other dietary restrictions, please be sure to let us know in your RSVP. Dessert and late night snacks will also be served later into the evening!

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

Our music will begin at 4:15, please plan to arrive early so you are already seated by this time.

What time will the reception end?

Our favorite part of having our reception at the farm is that there is no end time! We are so excited to spend this day with our favorite people, so we ask that you stay as long as you can throughout the evening. This isn't your typical wedding with JUST dancing and talking after dinner. We will have lots of yard games and a campfire going for anyone who wants to stay and play, or just sit by the fire and hangout. There is no rush to leave our reception by a certain time.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes - we will have a variety of drink options including canned beers, seltzers, ciders, sodas, juices, and water. If you are planning on drinking, please be sure to have a designated driver. We do not support drinking and driving, especially on our special day.
