Josh and Katy met at a waterpark called the Landing in Monroe City, Missouri when they were 15 years old. Josh introduced himself to Katy saying, “Hi, my name is Joshua Talton and a fun fact about me is I have a twin brother.” Katy followed Josh on Instagram, and Josh then DMed her. This is Josh and Katy's first picture together at his football game. Katy attended many of Josh's games despite him going to Monroe City and her going to Palmyra (big rivals).

Josh and Katy courted until Josh was 18. Josh asked Katy to be his girlfriend on his 18th birthday.

Josh and Katy graduated high school! Katy went to Truman State to study nursing and Josh went to John Wood to play basketball and get his associates in business.

Josh and Katy made time to see each other often despite going to different schools.

Josh and Katy made a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ by getting baptized together!

Josh proposed to Katy at South Lake in Monroe City! Now the two enjoy their last months of engagement and look forward to their wedding and marriage ahead!
