What date should I RSVP by?
We ask that you please RSVP by October 1, 2024. We ask that you try to do so on this website. If you are unable to on the website, then email/text me with the contact info provided on the invitation. We need a head count for food and drinks, so please RSVP as soon as possible.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love your children, but due to expenses and space restrictions, we are unable to accommodate children unless they are a part of the wedding party. We hope you are understanding of this decision and will still be able to celebrate our big day with us!
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Unfortunately, due to expenses and space restrictions, we can not accommodate for all of our lovely guests to bring a plus one. Plus ones are by invitation only. Thank you in advance!
What should I wear?
Our wedding will be what I like to call “farm formal” or dressy casual attire. For men, nice jeans and a blazer/button down would be appropriate. For women, sundresses or skirt/pants with a nice blouse would be appropriate. Also, women keep in mind that the ceremony will be held outdoors when you are choosing your shoes.
Is the ceremony/cocktail hour/reception indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, we plan for our ceremony and cocktail hour to be held outdoors. The reception is going to be held indoors after cocktail hour.
Will I be able to take videos/photos during the ceremony?
We’d love your presence and your full attention to our wedding. Please no videos/photos during the ceremony. We have paid for a photographer and videographer to capture this special moment for us. However, there will be a QR code posted on the guest book table, and this will allow your photos from after the ceremony to be automatically uploaded in one spot for us all to see. Also, our hashtag is #winningwithwhitley for social media.
Do you have a wedding registry? Can I bring my gift to the wedding?
We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. Your presence is enough of a gift, but should you wish to buy us something, we’d greatly appreciate a contribution towards our honeymoon/life goals. There will be a card box or our CashApp is $brookemtrout.
While gifts are not expected, we are registered at Walmart and Amazon. You can find the registries under the registry tab at the top. You can send those gifts to our address that is provided on the registries.
What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
After the ceremony, we will be serving light hors d’oeuvres during the cocktail hour. At the reception, we will be serving a buffet style dinner and dessert.
What are the plans for seating at the ceremony/reception?
As always, there will be reserved seats for family on each side of the aisle for immediate family. Otherwise, the ceremony seating will be first come, first served. Due to the layout of the venue, there will be a seating chart posted as you walk in and table numbers posted on each table. As I would love for all of you to be sat downstairs, some will have to sit upstairs in the barn for dinner depending on how many people come to celebrate with us.
