Josh and Alex first met while playing Pokémon GO in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan with some mutual friends. Josh claims to this day that Alex didn't like him at first, but really she just didn't know he would be coming and was surprised to meet him.

They spent a few years as just friends, being there for each other when they needed someone to depend on or to go on an impromptu adventure with.

One day, things changed and they both realized everything they both needed in life was in each other. Although it wasn't an easy start they both felt that this was "it" and made the leap into each other's arms.

They picked up their lives (along with their pup Koda and gecko Shiloh) and moved to Ann Arbor to follow Josh's dreams of becoming a Pharmacist at University of Michigan.

Now, almost three years later they are tying the knot to commit to a lifetime of happiness together!
