When should we arrive to the Philippines?
We recommend arriving on or before June 1, 2024, to give yourself ample time for leisurely shopping, relaxation, and indulging in self-care activities such as facials, manicures, and massages. Please note that the Philippines no longer requires proof of COVID vaccinations. All incoming foreign travelers are required to fill out the questionnaire at www.etravel.gov.ph and submit to customs upon arrival.
How do we get mobile data in the Philippines?
We strongly recommend purchasing a travel SIM to be able to use internet data through your trip. Prior to exiting Ninoy Aquino International Airport, there are booths from two of the most popular local internet service providers, Globe and Smart. We personally recommend Globe as a provider. You may purchase SIM cards with data plans or use the AIRALO app from the App Store to use an E-sim.
How do we travel within Manila?
We recommend downloading the Grab app to get around Metro Manila. It is a taxi service similar to Uber and Lyft. Please note that Manila is known for heavy traffic within the city so allow yourself enough time to travel when visiting the city.
Where should we stay in Manila before the wedding?
We recommend staying in Seda Bonifacio Global City Hotel, but you are more than welcome to book anywhere you desire such as Airbnb or any other hotels nearby or in BGC Taguig.
How do we get to the wedding destination?
On June 2nd (Sunday), we will meet at the Seda BGC Hotel at 11:30 am, where we will gather to board a private shuttle to Bataan. Departure is set for 12:00pm, so don't forget to pack your snacks, drinks, and entertainment.
How long is the journey to the wedding destination?
It takes 3 1/2 hours to 4 hours to reach our destination depending on traffic.
Where should we stay at the wedding destination?
We suggest staying at the hotel venue of our wedding, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Bataan. Room rates vary depending on the type of room. Prices may range from $99-290. Book no later than May 15, 2024.
What should we expect upon arrival at Las Casas?
Upon arrival at Las Casas, we'll check in and take some time to rest and rejuvenate after our journey. Welcome dinner will start at 7pm.
What are must-haves?
We suggest to bring sunblock, mosquito repellent, & sun glasses for outdoor activities.
What should our wedding attire be?
Semi-formal. Barong tagalog and dresses are recommended but not required. It is recommended to wear low heels as the pavements are cobble stones and may be uneven. Refrain wearing the colors: white
How do we get back from Bagac, Bataan to Manila?
A return shuttle will be available on Wednesday, June 5th, departing at 12pm, to transport guests back to either BGC Manila or NAIA (airport).
