What should I wear? Do I need to be super dressed up?

Please wear whatever you feel best in! If you like to dress up, feel free to go all out. If you like to dress down, we are getting married at a park, so please do. Either way, you'll fit right in. Come in whatever you feel most excited to wear, and feel most beautiful or handsome in. This would be the perfect wedding for wives to allow husbands to wear those sandals & shorts they've been begging for. ;) Come as you are, and enjoy!

Is the venue hard to find?

Not at all. If you hopped on Nevada Ave in Colorado Springs and drove south for a little over an hour, you'd find yourself at Pathfinder Park. (Nevada turns into Highway 115.) Your GPS will likely keep you on 1-25 and then connect you to 115. Drive south, wind through the little town of Florence, look out for the big Pathfinder Park sign, enter through the roundabout, and park wherever you'd like. You will see the ceremony set up out by the river. (You'll see the reception hall near the park entrance. If it's raining, the ceremony will be held inside the reception hall.)

Is the location wheelchair accessible? How far is it from the ceremony to the reception hall?

Yes, the outdoor ceremony space is wheelchair accessible but pretty bumpy. If we have sunshine, we will get married out by the Arkansas River. It's easy to get to from the parking lots (i.e. there are no hills, and hopefully it won't be muddy). The ground is quite uneven and soft in some areas though. It's about 75 yards from the ceremony to the reception hall, which is a fully wheelchair accessible building.

Inside or outside? Will there be AC?

Hey, don't sweat it! The ceremony will be outside, but the reception hall is air-conditioned.

Can I bring my kids?

Yes, yes, yes! They will have a blast!

Should I eat lunch before I come?

Yes. Drinks and appetizers will be served in the afternoon. Dinner and cake will be served around 4 or 5.

What's for dinner?

Pasta! (Unless your name is Charles Graham! We see you.) Spaghetti & Maria's famous meatballs, fettuccini alfredo, garlic bread (duh!), salad, bruschetta, wedding cake, and fun drinks.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

We will have some gluten free and vegetarian plates available for dinner. Please simply let the server at the buffet line know what you need.

What else should we know?

We hope this wedding will be a real blast! We hope our guests relax, laugh, eat, drink, dance, take photos, play, and smile from ear to ear from start to finish. We don't care about all the "showing up perfectly." We care about you, each other, and getting to celebrate together! We're so happy you're coming! We hope you will be filled to the brim with peace and joy and that you get that magical feeling - the one that comes during those extra sweet moments in life - when you feel incredibly happy to be alive. Please come as you are, shake off the stress (*Lindsay!), and enjoy yourself. We love you!
