One day in September of 2018 during their freshmen year, Joshua and Arynne were introduced to each other through a mutual friend named LaRisha at Cedarville University. Arynne and LaRisha were good friends and would eat together often. Joshua and LaRisha were classmates and they decided to eat lunch together one day. Through this lunch meet-up, Joshua and Arynne would officially meet. Even though their mutual friend left mid-semester, Joshua and Arynne would remain friends. Eventually, Joshua would start to catch feelings for Arynne towards the end of the semester. Unfortunately, things took a wrong way turn when both Arynne and Joshua did not meet eye to eye on a relationship status. This led the couple to go on non-speaking terms for about two years. In 2020, Joshua ironically started attending the same church as Arynne, which was Lighthouse Baptist Church. The couple rekindled their relationship at church and started to become friends once again. They would hang out together, eat lunch together, and would even study together throughout their junior year of college. Towards the end of that school year, Arynne began to catch feelings for Joshua, but he viewed her as just a good friend.&nbsp; Beginning of senior year in 2021, Arynne started showing real interest in Joshua. So the first week of the semester, Arynne invited Joshua to come over and hang out with her friends at their off-campus house. After the first hangout session, Joshua started to show the same interest as Arynne and asked her on a first date to dinner and bowling afterward. After their first official date, the couple started to see each other every day for the next two weeks. They studied together, played basketball together, and went on more dates. After the two weeks, Joshua knew it was time to make the relationship official. So Joshua planned a nice surprise dinner date to the Cheesecake Factory so he would ask the question. After dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, Joshua was so nervous to ask Arynne to be his girlfriend because he thought she would say no. But thankfully that's not the answer he got. It was a big “Yes of course I will be your girlfriend!” So on September 17th, 2021, the couple were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. From there on, the couple spent almost every day together getting to know one another on a deeper level.&nbsp; 652 days later, Joshua popped the BIG question to Arynne. “Will you marry me?” And the answer was “YES OF COURSE!” The couple got engaged on July 1st, 2023, and are ready to start their lives being together forever.&nbsp;
