Josh and I met freshman year at orientation, but didn’t know each other much until our Sophomore year (mostly because I’d said no to a date with him early on) when our best friends started dating. Thankfully he tried again and asked me to a date event in late 2021 and I said yes! We really hit it off on our first date and ended up on a blind date with each other the next night (which had been set up weeks earlier) and then we both knew it was something special. 


Flash forward 2ish years and dozens of Dunkin' dates later, and Josh took me home to North Carolina for the weekend “just to visit.” We went up to this gorgeous mansion overlooking the mountains and a lake where we like to walk and he popped the question! It was the easiest YES and just the sweetest day to celebrate with the people we love :)
